Burns Night 2022

Celebrating Scottish events in south-east London since 1914

Burns dinner and dance

Our planned Burns Night Dinner Dance in 2021 will not be taking place, but it is fully our intention to bounce back to full strength in 2022. The new scheduled date for the event will be 5 February 2022.

Saturday 5 February 2022

Our venue for Burns night gives plenty of space for dancing. After a drink the piper pipes us to our seats where we watch the Haggis being serenaded with  Burns’ famous poem “Ode to a Haggis”.

After a delicious three-course dinner our guest speaker gives the traditional “Immortal Memory” – a homage to the great poet Robbie Burns. And then the fun begins with the dancing. The evening finishes as we gather in a huge circle to sing the traditional Auld Lang Syne (words provided!).

The dress code is smart and stylish!

Tickets: TBC
